In the morning of January 26, officers of the State Control Committee came to the homes of the publisher and the director of the Binoculars city magazine.
February 9 Frunzenski court of Minsk will begin to hear the criminal case against Belsat journalists Katsiaryna Andreyeva (Bakhvalava) and Daria Chultsova.
Belarusian Association of Journalists and Reporters without Borders addressed the UN Special Rapporteur

No one was detained. Investigative Committee officers seized equipment from the office. The search was done as part of the case journalist Andrei Aliaksandrau.
Andrei Aliaksandrau was detained in a criminal case, started by Minsk city department of the Investigative Committee, said Aliaksandrau's lawyer. Andrei Alexandrov is a suspect under Art. 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus "Organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them."
