| Belarusian Collegium Offers: Supplementary Bachelor/Master's degree training in these specializations: — Philosophy/Literature — Journalism — Modern History The curriculum is aimed at producing students who will have the ability to think and write critically, carry out research projects, be involved in the activities of Belarusian civil society, academia and non-State media; Training cycles are three years long. Successful graduates from the Collegium are awarded a special Bachelor/Master's degree certificate. Collegium certificates do not substitute university diplomas. The teaching program of the BC is, as far as possible, the latest development in the relevant fields. Collegium students are selected by interview. Final year art/social sciences students and recent graduates are invited to apply. In exceptional cases, first/second-year students may be accepted. Lectures are open to the public, and anyone who attends regularly is registered as an observer. Teaching at the Belarusian Collegium is made up of: a) systematic courses of lectures, workshops and tutorials; b) special teaching projects aimed at developing professional skills. In addition to educational activities, the Belarusian Collegium — conducts research projects; — organizes international conferences and workshops; — has a library of scientific literature, training materials and regional periodicals.
